The General Sherman Tree

In the Sequoia National Park lives the largest tree in the world.

The General Sherman Sequoia was NAMED in 1879.  It was already 100s of years old.  It stands 25 STORIES high?

Do you have a 25 story building in your town?  That is how tall it is to the top.

Sequoias are California’s treasure.  Not the gold that paves our streets (!!) but these beautiful and magnificent trees.
