The 2011 California Brewfest in Sacramento on September 17th

Sacramento hosts the 2011 California Brewfest on Saturday, September 17th.

The 17th Annual Brewfest will have 60 breweries and distributors in Sacramento’s Discovery Park beginning at 1 pm.

And the best part?  You will be enjoying some unique beers while benefitting local charities.

What about tickets?

You can buy tickets online here.  Tickets are $25 for advance purchase.

Make sure you have a designated driver.  Designated driver tickets are just $5 and you can buy them online at the above link.

You can also buy tickets at many local pubs & breweries.

Entertainment??

Yes, the brewfest will have entertainment.  Live bands, the beer, food vendors and cigar selections!

Your event ticket gets you 10 samples and you can buy more tickets to sample more brews.

Parking?

There is a ton of free bike parking and the Bike Trail runs along the festival perimeter and provides easy access from Arden Park, River Park, Campus Commons, Cal Expo, California Sate University Sacramento (CSUS or Sac State) , Old Sacramento, and Downtown Sacramento. Free secure bicycle parking will be provided.

Ample parking is available at the normal Sacramento County Parks day rate.

WHAT is Discovery Park?

Discovery Park is located at the junction of the American River and the Sacramento River near downtown Sacramento.  A great 160 acre water sports site with grassy areas, picnic sites and river access.  The park is on the beautiful American River Parkway.  The Parkway has walking, jogging and bicycle paths, local wildlife and stretches for miles along the river.
